About Me
Hi! My name is Louisa, the owner of Clay by Louisa Harrison. For a long time, life felt like it was moving too fast. Then a big change came along and shifted everything, and I realised I didn't want to keep rushing through my days. I wanted to slow down, to be present, to actually enjoy the life in front of me rather than hurry past it.
Clay is where I found that. There's a quiet to it — a focus that asks for your full attention and gives nothing back if you hurry. When my hands are in the clay, everything else goes still. I feel calm, grounded, present. It's the one part of my day that simply cannot be rushed, and that's exactly why I love it.
So I make slowly, on purpose. Small batches, one piece at a time, no two quite alike. Each one carries the marks of an unhurried afternoon — and I hope they bring a little of that same slowness into your home: a reason to pause, to notice, to enjoy the small things.
